Friday, December 19, NEW YORK, NY—Miriam Parker, Deputy Marketing Director of Little, Brown and Company, announced today that Little, Brown will be launching a new website for Kate Mulgrew to promote her forthcoming memoir, Born with Teeth. Simultaneously, Mulgrew will launch her own social media presence for the first time on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
To date, Mulgrew has not had her own social media accounts.
“We’re thrilled to be able to help Kate launch a website so that her fans can learn about her and her work in authentic ways.” said Miriam Parker. The website features information about the book and a holiday message from Mulgrew.
The memoir, titled Born with Teeth, will be published on April 14, 2015 and will follow Mulgrew’s search for the daughter she gave up for adoption and the costs and rewards of a passionate life. Mulgrew’s editor is Little, Brown publisher, Reagan Arthur.
Kate Mulgrew is an American actress that can currently been seen as the fierce ‘Red’ on the Netflix hit series “Orange is the New Black.” Previously, Kate starred as the first female cap-tain, ‘Kathryn Janeway’, on “Star Trek: Voyager.” Prior to that she starred as ‘Mary Ryan’ on the long running sitcom “Ryan’s Hope” and earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role as ‘Kate Columbo’ in “Mrs. Columbo.”
